Eventually...I would like to put the Grands photos in B&W behind the glass...

but for now, I'm happy with this...

Added only a slight white wash to the window...just to clean it up a bit, but not lose the Shabby effect...
I added the #'s to these ..Hat and coat hooks...

This is my haul from yesterdays GW stop and a new thrift I found....First day open!!!!
Frames were$1.00 at GW....the two Very cool hangers I found at the new thrift...
and the wooden lamp, (loved the lines) from GW also....
a great day!
usually I need to repaint and spruce up everything to make it my own....
Only a little sanding and voila!

and ready to go!
What do you think of adding some french numbers to the hangers?...could be very chic!

WHITE, WHITE, AND SHADES THEREOF....

Today I'm thinking of all things white...and shades thereof...
I totally re-arranged the house on this rainy day today....
almost finished and happy with the new arrangments....
You must do that too, we all like to mix things up ....
I put our kitchen table on the summer porch and added white sheers on some of the windows.
Love watching the wind blow them in summer...
re-arranged almost every room...
Here are just a couple photos of White objects....
Trying to keep that pallet for the summer...
with pastel accents...
and just a few surprise blacks here and there. She is not mine...but I wish she was...

These were a dollar at the GW....can you imagine making these and selling them for $1.00?
almost breaks my heart... think I'll make pin cushions out of them...someday!

LATEST PROJECT....AND AN UP-DATE !...

Have been pumping out the projects like there is no tomorrow....
Keeping my hands busy...theraputic....
Picked up this frame at the MAXX for a couple dollars...and knew what I'd do with it ...(it was all white!)
A little mixed-media frame now...
I enjoy making these...gets the creative juices flowing...
Clock arms....why not?...
A bird and nest Stamp...

I love this clip art...I've used her on many a tag...she is a doll with her little bird!

Roses ribbon ...you've seen before on other projects...I have a plethera of this...

I also like that word...plethera!!!!

UPDATE ON DAVE...

Today was the 5th round of chemo...

Always a long day for both of us...His lab work was good so they gave the okay to start the Chemo.

As usual...he is resting now with the fanny pack attached to him until Wednesday.

While we were there ....Daughter Beth came with the Grands and McDonalds for lunch....Thanks Beth!

Daughter -in-love , Sherri also stopped in to visit,

Always fun...and helps pass the time.

Apart from a few mechanical glitches all went well.

Two weeks from today will be the last Chemo...I will keep you posted as to the P.E.T

scan scheduling....

We are soo anxious to get that over with and see the results...

SAUGATUCK / DOUGLAS...Just waking up for the summer...

Even though this little sleepy town was still in the process of waking up for the season, we still found plenty to do and see while in the Saugatuck / Douglas area...
Will share more as soon as I get caught up around here...a little...

Sunny drives...exploring the countryside...80 degrees!!!!!...imagine that!
This lighthouse was soooo far out....I'm impressed I could even pull it in enough to get a shot...
you can even see people !!!!!...couldn't make them out from the shoreline!



The shoreline .....beautiful no matter what season....
