This is what I feel like when I get to sew and design for the in house "Royalty"... What all the Queens are wearing...

When it comes to making clothes for the Grands...(especially the little "Queens")...

I tend toward the bright happy Fabrics....

Cute little capri pants go with each top ...complete with ruffles on the bottom...

PURGING...Purses and roses...oh My!

Well kids...I've been doing a little BLOG purging...
Cleaned up some "cookies"...Waved bye-bye to the Il Divos, ( my music of choice)...
deleated tons of photos...(hours worth!!!!) spruced up my header and spent some learning curve time on the blog...
Feels good ...
like fresh sheets off the line!
So...sorry about the absence of Music here but I think it just slowed everything down...
and for those of you who were secretly wishing I'd bid farwell to it...time to celebrate!!!
Aside from houskeeping...(blog purging), I've been working with a little fabric too...

It's not how old you are...It's how you feel,,OH WHATEVER!!!!!!!

It's the look of .....what? I can't figure out what she's thinking...
She looks unsure of her thoughts....
Befuddeled...perplexed....it's like she's questioning..

weither I can really be having another birthday with an "0" in it. An "0" = Nothing...zero, zilch ,nada....no big deal! Right?
Put it after a number like 4- 5- or 6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it starts getting pretty puffed up for just an empty old zero!!!!
I'm taking the day off to decide if I'm going to embrace this NEW ZERO...
and another thing....why is it when ever a new zero shows up...it's ALWAYS with a NEW number....larger then the last real number...
Can I get a witness here?
What is up with this...
I'll be fine tomorrow...after the "Abba" concert tonight.
(An attempt to make me smile and embrace the NEW ZERO...)
If you don't know who "Abba" is , your to young to even get this.
If you get it...you've seen a few zero's yourself!
Gotta Love another Birthday...to make you feel like your all that AND a bag of chips!!!

saved the tablescape for today so I could join the others at Susans @ BNOTP....

I have been experimenting...and trying to catch the "Blue Hour" at dusk...

I think I found it!....

the short time in the evening when you look outside and it's blue....

I love that...the quiet, still, romantic time I call it.

Come for a little walk with me to the shed....

Been working out here the last couple days sprucing up this area and adding a mulched bed around this section.
Cleaning it up a bit...

I thought it time to give the flowerbox a fresh face...
When I started to remove the old flowers...

Guess I'll just head back to the house and wait for the birthing!!!!

SHABBY PORCH LOVES...AND A "FLOCKING"....

Before I show you the "Flocking".....a few more areas of our shabby porch...
dollar store pastel birds...I laughed...then I bought them. Green beaks????
I'll touch those up the next time I have the paints out...
I fell in love with this old bread bowl....It had a huge chunk out of the side...the man was nice enough to really come down on the price because of it...
Dave patched it ...I like the patch...character!

A basket I made eons ago...Back in the day!!!!

You know how I enjoy PINK...well My neighbors were "FLOCKED" the other day while they were away from home...

If your going to be flocked...it might as well be with something PINK!!!

OUR SHABBY ...SUMMER....COTTAGE ...PORCH.

This year I thought it would be fun to bring the kitchen table out into the three season porch...
I love it out there...
Created a little dining area...
brings out the Cottage summer feel and I think our friends will like the change of pace too!
I'm all for changing it up and I know many of you are too...


Put this old door behind this little two door hutch I found at a Garage sale years ago...
Painted up the doors....Actually the roses I cut out of wall paper...glued them on and embellished them with paint.
Every year they get softer looking due to the suns fading...I like that.

The hutch with it's new coat of white lovliness....from last year.

More details tomorrow...

Love this little porch....It's what sold me on this house.
