Well my sweet friends.... My rocker will be empty for a few days as I'm off to CHICAGO!!!!...with my grandaughter Maddy and my daughter Becky...and Madisons fifth grade class!!!! How many fifth graders want their Grandmothers tagging along on their class trip?....I am blessed!
Madison and I will be celebrating our birthdays while in Chicago too!....Looking forward to a wonderful time and promise to bring back tons to share....Enjoy your days, and be happy...

We were blessed with so many sweet birdsnests last year.....Hoping to see as many this year! I like to think they build their nest close to "Thank us "for feeding them and their families all winter long....

Sprucing up the Birdhouses...

This has been the year many of our birdhouses are screaming for a "Redo"....
Mr. Wonderful made this one about 12 years ago and it followed us here on our last move.....So we're looking for a whole new look this time... More of a cottage condo style.....Hopefully this new improvement will last another 10 years at least!..

Here we have three coats of "Pale Pink" primer on....

All finished and ready to be put on the market....Ha. Last year we had a hive of bees take up residence in there so I stuffed a little nesting material in the holes to keep the bees out. Sorry birds... you'll just have to rest on the porch of this condo...Square headed nails for perches....cute!

A soft "cottage" look for this ivory candle....

Sometimes just the smallest additions make an element "Pop"...

A collection of lovely old plates.....and a pink server. Layering them creates a perfect base for this candle.. What do you think?
