I enjoy working with copper...it is plyable and ages nicely with a mellow patina...
All components are handmade on this piece...

Kathy, I love this copper jewelry. I love copper! The color is splendid. When I worked as a consultant I had a client who had the back wall of their reception area papered in copper leaf. Then they varnished it. It just glowed with this mellow, dark copper light. I loved going there!

ReplyDeleteYes- Henry's and Sids- unfortunately, long gone. St. Clair Inn is still there- stayed there when I buried Dad there 6 years ago.
Nice to have a new blog friend- one who knows Michigan so well.
It was a hip replacement and I am completely healed- keeping fingers crossed I don't have to have the other one done! Arthritis is no fun- have had it since my 30's.
Hope you winter won't be as bad as they predict.
