ROWENA J. EULER (SMITH)...A TEACHER OF INFLUENCE...

In keeping with the Thanksgiving spirit...I should like to introduce to you Rowena J. Euler ( Smith)...My daughter-in-laws Precious grandmother who passed into Glory last week. Rowena was 98 years young and probably one of the most amazing Prayer Warriors I have had the pleasure of meeting. This photo was at her funeral....I fell in love with it...requested a copy...Thank You Jim and Beth for your promptness. Photo was taken around 1935-36 , in a one room schoolhouse in Sanilac County, Mi. This woman was a treasure...Thank You Rowena for leaving your family and all you've touched in your long life a legacy rich and saturated with Jesus...
Of course I had to preserve her in this Mixed Media Art...Although she was not a woman of Jewelry...I hope she doesn't mind my taking some artistic license...

as you can see from the photo this is not her little red school house...More artistic license...

I wonder if anyone of these little ones still with us would recognize themselves...It's possible! What a wonderful woman, wife, mother, grandmother, teacher and Christian...

We'll be missing you "GRAMMY GREAT"...as our Grands called her! I'm sure you've already heard the preciouse words..."Welcome home, My good and faithful servant"...see you soon, xoxo~Kathy.

  4. A beautiful legacy and a lovely remembrance:>) The way you have embellished the photo makes it more than just an old photo, it brings it into the present as a work of art and focuses attention on the woman within.
