Some days it's all about the DRESS...

Cracker...."wouldn't this material make a pretty dress?"..

That's all it took for me....

my girl wanted a new dress.

We were ooh-ing and ahh-ing over all the lovely fabrics at our local quilt shop when this one struck her fancy.

When your six...you have definate opinions about what's cool and what's NOT.

This fabric...VERY COOL...

Remember when you were six?

A sewing Saturday...

a privilage.

I use to sew for my girls alot when they were little, even made western shirt for my boys at times. Have done a little for the gandies, but not much. Fond memories though. 28. I love the dress! It is so cute. My daughter was like that...she would see fabric and say...momma I want a dress or whatever out of this. I loved sewing for her. I even smocked and did french hand sewing back in the day. She had the cutest clothes. I miss those days.
