Our lilacs are past, but the freshmornng air and the roses and mint in our garden are wonderful! I truly do live for these days of sunshine and roses:>)
I have two Lilac bushes that have not done well since I moved here. :( I, too, love the delicious fragrance and always try to bring in a bouquet to my house. Enjoy them while you have them!~Hugs, Patti
Kathy- I love lilacs- they are my favorite Spring flower! Ours are almost past bloom now..kind of bittersweet, really. I wanted to tell you, too, that I LOVE your header- it is perfect for summer- xo Diana
Morning Kathy, What wonderful photos, don't think I have ever had the pleasure of smelling lilacs, but I have smelled the oil, so I am sure they are intoxicating and wonderful! Like your new blog header, very pretty as always. Hope you are doing well hon! blessings, Nellie
Funny....I have my lilacs as my head picture on my blog too! They are smelling up my whole house right now! LOVE IT! Summer is definitely the time for flower intoxication! :))
Pretty and colorful pics. Our lilacs didn't seem to last very long this spring. Always bring in a bouquet to smell while doing the dishes. Question, isn't splendor spelled with an o?
I do enjoy seeing those that can grow such beautiful things. Just wish I could be a Tiger Swallowtail for an afternoon. Thanks by fluttering by to see my pink post. Blessings ;-)
Discovered your blog through another...I sometimes get lost blog hopping! :)
The moment I read your blog title, I just knew you had to be from Michigan. My parents are originally from Detroit and I spent every summer up there. We often vacationed on Mackinac...the loveliest!
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me...I am always encouraged by your kind expressions and thoughtful comments....Know that you are loved....xoxo Kathy.
