Haviland china bottlebrush TREE...

A dear friend gifted this tiny Haviland teacup and saucer...from France...
after bleaching the green bottle brush trees, (previous posts) to white I sprayed this one with Metalic spray paint. Glued the base to some floral foam in the cup and lined the base with some eyelash yarn...and a little metalic pompom as a topper.
spent most of the morning making 6 others all different....I'm officially over the moon with tree making this year.
This evening some friends are coming over for the Chefs Pumpkin Cheesecake and an evening of crafting...ONE guess as to what we're making!!!!!
xo, Kathy and the Chef.

go make a tree!
more to follow...

  1. Oh Kathy! Those are just darling!!! I found small bottlebrush trees at Walmart this year for 75 cents each and picked up a few. I am going to bleach them like you suggested! xo Diana

  2. What a beautiful teacup! And you dressed it up just right with the bottle brush tree and decor. I must get over to Michaels or Walmart and get some of those little trees. Not today though...roads are closed to regular traffic in Delaware where we do our shopping due to Hurricane Sandy.

  3. So glad you're back! Love the trees you have been making and I always love these little bottle brush trees. I saw a package of two for a dollare today while I was at Dollar Tree, possibly the cheapest I have ever seen them. Now I know what to do with them:>)
