Little Fairies...Could they be Noelle's

Little fairies gathering their "Flying dust"......will flying dust work on people? Wouldn't it be "People Dust" then?

Dear Tooth Fairy.....

Our sweet Noelle lost her tooth while sleeping last night. She woke up and wrote this note and left it on the kitchen counter. Her mother found it this morning... Some things just have to be shared.....(memories)....

Anxious to see if the "Tooth Fairy" sprinkles her Fairy dust on sweet Noelle!!!!

Organizing the Family Recipes...

I don't know how many hours this took to accomplish (a lot..) but now every recipe is preserved and pretty to look at....mostly pastel backgrounds! Makes you want to just warm up that oven doesn't it?...

Remember this recipe Candy girl?...I think you shared it with me when our children were VERY young...not telling how long ago that was!!!! Well, it made the recipe Cut and recieved a new face and laminated too....We have loved it and especially enjoy how the topping crisps up under the broiler for a few minutes. Bet you forgot you even gave this to me.... Have you been making it over the years?

Tuesday was a fun day in the studio....

Needed to make a special Frame....out of these colors and elements, "Can you see it"?

Such yummy colors....just looking at them gets the creative juices flowing...
Ready set go!

Completed!!!! ...I tried to use every media I could think of for this frame project. Fabric, yarn, paper, chalk, paint, ribbon, branches, ric-rack, a key, Just soooo much fun to do. Copied the bird onto fabric and frayed the edges...a little tricky but it worked!

Organizing........

How are your organizational skills?... Do you like to organize things?
For me it's like therapy!!... Last winter I decided to roll all my loose yarn into balls and group them into similar colored displays....instead of all thrown together in a heap in the corner of my studio.

I love to organize and re-arrange things.. I think that's the big draw for me with blogging too.

I love putting together a blog post, I get the same satisfaction as re-arranging a room! After putting together a post , I view it and say "Well, There!"... Arranged things just the way I wanted them and there they stay!!!

Actually..... blogging is even better then room re-arranging......NO ONE MESSES IT UP AFTER..

So...the yarn is organized and I've a clean corner in my studio....excellent!
On to the next project ~Kathy.

As Lampworking is another of my Joys....thought I'd leave you with a photo of a finished work today! Creating one of a kind jewelry is a passion and I'm fortunate to have a husband who encourages my desire......
He has provided me with a wonderful, Safe place to create, complete with a state of the art ventilation system, ( He invented)! ....Yes, he's a good man! I feel safe down there firing glass, not worrying about what fumes I may be injesting.
I SELL my things all year out my Studio in my home with ONE BIG SHOW in the fall.... We have a wonderful time, It's a great "Girls night Out".

A New Gown For The Queen!!!!! dut,dut,da dahhhh..

Introducing...The "Prom Queen" she lives in my studio and oversees the Kingdom....

She's a good listener but not big on offering ideas...I am inspired when I look at her though!...

I enjoy having Royalty in the room...

Today I discovered this new gown for her... she's thrilled and insisted I show her subjects...!

These slippers had a sign on them that said "Hospital slippers", they have plastic soles...

All frilly on top with a pink button, does anyone remember these from a hospital visit??? I'd sure like to hear from you...!!

First,you have to understand a few things......you can work on a computer;obviously you have figured out the whole enchilada....then you are a ace photagrapher you not only can take a good picture but you set yourexposures etc all correctly..then there comes along the stuff you are taking pictures of.....which most of us couldn't dream up if we had to.Then theres the fact that you probably made most of the stuff youre taking pictures of......thats leaving the majority of us in the dark.so........mainly wrote to ask you WOMAN IS THERE ANYTHING YOU CANT DO? Seriously,you are one talented hot tomato,I have never known anyone as talented as you,thats the bottom line.......BIG LOVE BACK ATCHA!!!!!!!
