PIE FIXES EVERYTHING....SAYS THE LITTLE SIGN IN MY KITCHEN!

I'm a pie freak...Love building them as much as eating them... It's true..."Pie Fixes Everything"... Hard for me to make a pie without turning it into an Art project though...

Used Cortlands for this pie...with a little crumb topping to set off the leaves and acorn...

This one didn't stick around long...MMMmmmmm... of course it's better warm AND with a little ice cream....

We eat with our eyes first don't we?...wish I could learn to just stop there!, but what fun would that be!!!!. Happy beginning to another week! xoxo~Kathy.

  12. Gorgeous!! I do the same thing with pies. I saw it several years ago on the Martha Stewart Show and thought it was such a good idea. I think yours are prettier though. :)

  19. Hi Kathy, it's lovely to meet you here! Thanks for stopping by with encouraging words. Love, love, love this pie.....but, what's Cortland's? I'm in Australia and I've got a feeling that we're missing out on something fabulous! The apple looks amazing.....deep and abundant. A pie this good could, indeed, fix anything. Meredith xo.
