O ...I am hoping for snow here in West Texas this winter. I just love it...as long as I don't have to drive in it !! Your snow is so beautiful !
ReplyDeleteAhhh, and the tart..it looks just devine.
I, too, had a grandgirl over for the night..she helped me put the finishing touches on our dinner. Then, 4 more grandgirls, 2 grandboys and their parents hit the front door...13 of us for dinner...the house looked like a bomb hit it when everyone left...ahhh....ain't life grand!! :)

Gorgeous! I'd love to have snow again this year - which isn't too common on Christmas - but we had such a terrible snow and ice storm last year that I may be the only one hoping for a white Christmas again! If not, I'll just enjoy yours!!! Thanks for sharing. ~Adrienne~
ReplyDeleteSnow? We didn't have snow! It was cold this morning, but not even any frost!
ReplyDeleteAwwww...I love to wake up to snow on the ground.
ReplyDeleteWe mostly get ice where we live, tho. So a good snow is really a joy for us....
I always enjoy your blog.

What a delight to see your photos, Kathy. Made me think I was back in Michigan with all of you! Love particularly the photo of your back porch.
ReplyDelete(The turkey tart looks great too!)
I am just tickled pink when I have a new visitor to The Vintage Nest. Thank you Kathy and I hope you will visit often. Brrrr...that snow looks so wintry Christmasy. I am hoping our weather stays fairly warm today so I can get out and pick fresh greens to make my wreaths and swags for decorating. I can almost smell your tart baking.

The tart looks delicious...as does the applesauce. You appear to be really ready for Christmas ~ everything looks so lovely! We don't get snow very often here and I love it when we do.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pics of snow. Gets me more in the mood for Christmas. We've had near 70 degree temps the past couple of days. Mmmm. That apple tart is calling my name, I think. Rosie
ReplyDeleteYAY.... we were downstate and missed the snow! I am glad the roads were dry for our ride back home!
ReplyDeleteLove the snow but want it to wait just alil longer!
