it will always hold something for you.
Walking around the yard ...soaking up all the changes in growth.
Nature is such a teacher....always changing...forever evolving.

David is doing wonderfully. One foot of his ascending colon was successfully removed and 48 hrs. later we were on our way home.
We arrived home Sunday evening and he actualy cut the grass today...amazing.
We are in a holding pattern for a couple weeks....
testing...Drs. conferences...more testing and decision making.
We need more information before locking into treatment and sugeries...
I will be happy to offer specifics as soon as we know them.
For the next couple days we need to regroup and Dave needs to continue healing.
We are both looking forward to just doing "NORMAL" things for a couple weeks....and waiting on the Lord for direction.

ReplyDeleteDear Kathy,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by my blog. I just spent the last half hour here, looking at your beautiful pictures and all the lovely things you create. Most importantly, I learned of your husband's health issues. I will certainly add him to my "blogger friends" prayer list. This is the 2nd time today that I have been reminded to get a colonoscopy (I'm 52). It is now moved up on my to -do list. I look forward to stopping by again. God bless you both, a new prayer warrior from Wisconsin.
Wow! your flowers are gorgeous! What lovely colors.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear your hubby is up and about doing the "normal" things around your home.

ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear that you are back home and that the doctors have addressed the cancer and are planning the next stage of attack. Now is the time for embracing the joy of life at home and allow the body to do it's own healing. You and Dave will be in my prayers each night. Your white lilacs are beautiful. Do they have the same fragrance as the others?
