My Oh MY!! You are so creative!! Who would have thought to do just the top in a slight pink? Adorable! ( & I LOVE that you painted on the kitchen counter : ) Trusting that you are both feeling as peaceful as your living area looks... Blessings K.
Oh, great. I saw something about "giving a girl a makeover" and thought you wanted to help me look younger, chick!!! LOL But no matter, you did a stunningly gorgeous job on that table. Now, where did you say you live?! I may want to pilfer, I mean borrow indefinitely, a few things, sugar! Absolutely DARLING! xoxo, Connie
Kathy, what a gorgeous, gorgeous table!! I just love your house - I would just love to knock on your door and come for a visit!! You inspire me to keep things changing here.. Suzyq
Laura...Gripper is put out by Glidden...I'm not a fan of their paint but this product is the bomb! Really helps paint stick well and keeps old surfaces from bleeding through... Think I found it at "Home Depot" xoxo~Kathy.
Love, love, love the look of your 'new' table - great job with her make-over! Thanks for the information about Gripper - think I'll be off to Home Depot to find some today! ~Adrienne~
I love what you did with this table Kathy...it is beautiful now !!....you did a nice job......hope you feeling fine and David too???...wishing you a happy day....love Ria
Hi Kathy, Absolutely adore your table, it came out stunningly beautiful. Love the pink crackle top. Fits in perfectly in that room, I see!! You are one busy and productive lady. Wish I could love doing furniture like that, but I have to say I don't!! lol Have a beautiful day hon, Thanks for coming by over the weekend, and for your sweet comments as always, Blessings, Nellie
OOh she is beautiful!! What a nice lady! What a make over!! When i can come! I want some of those Legs!!! hihihihii So elegant!!! have a verry nice evening Yolanda
Oh, you bet she's no longer an ugly duckling! You are good at this. I tried to do the crackle thing once, and made a complete mess. I take my hat off to ya! Brenda
Now that ol' gal looks as good as if she'd had a trip thru the red door at Elizabeth Arden! Love the pink and white crackle look, very sweet.
And I completely understand using your kitchen as your workshop. I once refinished an entire dining room set -- table, 6 chairs, china cabinet -- in an apartment kitchen. Women can do pretty much anything when we put our minds to it.
Oh, my...who DOESN'T feel a hundred percent better after a makeover... Oh, dear...my 'crackle' started on my face and has now worked itself all over my body. :))
This is so pretty, Kathy. I tried that crackle stuff on a tiny bookshelf once and it was a total mess. Your table is just stunning.
I hope your sweetie is doing good now. Have a great day..
Kathy, As a woman with multiple cans of white paint in my storage area , I can appreciate the transformation of your duck to swan table. You make me want to clean up my brushes and get out some paint. Wishing you a cooler end of August in Cadillac than the humid one we have had in Brooklyn Mi. Cerise
Love it, Kathy! I painted my coffee table white and I love how it turned out. Never thought of the crackle. Yours looks amazing! I think I'll try the pink crackle next time I paint something. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a lovely weekend.
Hi Kathy! How are you? I have missed your posts! I've been away for a while now. Life got in the way during the summer for me. :) I stay busy with my boys and hubby. I have to say that I love what you did with the table! Love how the pink shows thru. You did a great job! Blessings, Sandra
