these acorns were pretty dark.....
not anymore.... Thinking of Fall....
just around the corner you know...
Had some fun with this old bench.....
Stripes, polka dots, spirels, squiggles...just kind of went with it!
and the base of this lamp now a LIGHT minty green...MMmmmmmm.
You have all touched our hearts with your outpouring of love and prayers through your comments , e-mails, and cards.
We count each and everyone of you a gift from above.
Dave feels well and although we are not using anymore chemo...we are actively incorporating numerous natural auto-immune boosters to Dave's diet.
God is mighty and mercyful...our hope lies in Him...not only in this life but in the hereafter.
I'm missing my daily blogging and as long as Dave is well I'm going to try and get back to it on a more frequent basis.
Our life together has been rich and blessed and we intend to live it out to it's fullest potential.
We count you as dear friends,
xoxo~Kathy and Dave.

Oh Kathy,
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about your sweet husband. I'm in tears. I feel for you & my heart aches for you. You have the right perspective. When his time comes God will accept him back with open arms. He will be with all your loved ones who have passed. He will be surrounded in love. But I know that doesn't stop your pain, for those of us still here, we have to endure the heartache. I'm so so sorry. Anything I can do to help, or any cheering up I can do please let me know.
Big huge hugs,
Shellagh
G'morn Kathy ~ Now that I have my composure from your last post, I can write you. May God give you both strength to travel this path together. Prayers have been lifting for you both. Know that He will hold you up in His love ... God bless you both.
ReplyDeleteHave missed you so. Your painted acorns I'd not have thought of ... much less anything else that you so eloquently create. Beautiful, Kathy, just beautiful.
All my love ~ Marydon
My dear Kathy and Dave,
ReplyDeleteI paused for a moment to remember you both in prayer. I am asking for a swift and sweet healing. Through our precious Lord all things are possible.
Kathy I do strongly believe that our diet can aid immensely in our health. Organic is more expensive but since our family has switched we are experiencing better health. Give that a try too.
I have to also say that your acorns are lovely and the new base of your lamp made my heart pitter patter.
I think the acorns are so neat painted white and the bench is adorable...keep busy it can only help you not hurt you! Just wanted you to know that I'm keeping you in my thoghts and prayers!
ReplyDeleteRondell
I am glad that you feel that you can post again. I think of you & your husband often with your struggle. I am happy to hear that you are trying some natural alternatives. I know someone who had cancer and tried B17 tablets with very good results. Know that there are prayers going up to God from Canada for Dave. hugs, Deb
ReplyDeleteMy heart is heavy as I read your posts. You are both in my prayers daily. Hold each other and love each other. God bless you both.
ReplyDeleteYour home is so bright & beautiful and full of love Kathy, just like your heart is. My prayers are with you & Dave ♥

ReplyDeleteYour painting projects are fantastic. That bench is the cutest thing. Did you have to mention Fall? Oh, I love it, but it is so much to get everything out...I dread it...and then fast comes Christmas....I am begging for an out of town holiday...and not put anything up. Now you know I am kidding, but not about all the work!!
Oh how pretty your transformations are! Praying that you and Dave are blessed with many wonderful days to come.
ReplyDeleteI am blessed to have found my way to this blog. You are an inspiration to all of us here...and I love your projects...adoring those little acorns painted white...I feel a copy-cat move coming on! Diana
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy! I was thinking about you and your hubby today.

Dearest Kathy and Dave I had to let you know that you are both an inspiration to me.
ReplyDeleteYour stength and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ is what keeps us all strong and making it thru this tough times in life.
You are both in my prayers every day!
God Bless you both! You are amazing!
Hugz, Dolly
P.S. I highly recomend doing some research on xango juice.
If Dave is not taking it you may consider it!
An amish friend recomended it to me to treat my arthritis, I was skeptical but tried it because it is all natural and could not hurt... I am a firm believer in its miracles! A man we know took it to treat his leukemia and is in remission... the drs were amazed that he was clear with no treatments! I have heard so many stories of its miracles that I recomend it to any one and everyone!
Search xango.com and see what you think!
Love the acorns Kathy! You are on the right track with the natural immune. It may not totally reverse, but it definitely could add on to a longer time...that and prayers. One never knows what the body can do it is powerful on its own, but even more powerful with God.
ReplyDeleteTake Care to both of you!
Ulrike
It's so good to see you ~ I've been holding you and Dave in my thoughts and prayers. Your strength is a true blessing!
