Saw the graduated book stacking in the latest Country Home Mag...

Gave that a try...

They topped theirs off with a stuffed chicken!..who stuffs those?

I opted for a pearlized pumpkin...

Painted and crackeled the leaves...
added ribbons to the pumpkie...

Always a challenge to Fallerize in whites and pastels...

I figure most anything can be painted...

Just a little of what's been keeping my hands and head busy.

  2. Your home is just beautiful. You have done such a nice job of tasefully layering your treasures so the observer can apprciate every little detail.

I went on the hunt yesterday for your muffin pans but came up empty handed...We don't have a large city near by. Do you mind me asking where you found them? I will be going down to Portland, Oregon next week so perhaps I will find them there.

  3. Good morning Miss Kathy, boy oh boy...have I been missing you...I really like the idea of the stacked books...what a great idea.
Course, knowing me, I'd want the one on the bottom, and or I would be right down there with them all the time...LoL
I am at a plateau as far as followers or comments...no one sings me love songs, and no one sends me flowers anymore...
I love your blog and your wonderful warm style.

G'morn Jana ~ This is my first visit, so I was poking around. Yes, you are truly blessed & are exactly where God wanted you to be for this blessed child to survive.

May all his birthdays be moments of joy & happiness as you celebrate.
