MOM...You've got to try this place....(I always listen to my daughter!)...
Becky and I decided to do it up right and have lunch at Patisseria Amie...
in Traverse city...Oh my! a delightful FRENCH surprise ...
Becky's hot Chocolate!...
A delicious apple crepe with REAL whipped cream...MMmmmmm.
A gorgeous omelette with NO...{not white chocolate shavings}, although that was my first guess!...Gruyere Cheese....just as good.
NO photos of the Beignets....we ate them before we remembered to shoot.
Do we feel QUILTY ?
Not one lip-smackin bit!
All photos per Becky's phone!... need to remember my camera wherever I roam .
Will be coming back soon...for the menu and to brush up on our French for Paris !
Have fun and eat well ...
Burp....oops.

I didn't realize Traverse City had a French restaurant. That is probably my favorite kind of food. And, don't laugh, but one of the best French meals I have ever had was at Walt Disney World in the little upstairs The Bistro in Epcot Center....oh.so.good. Love the hot chocolate presentation. Hugs- Diana

I used Picnic for that,

Today Traverse is all over the news...there was a Murder/homicide today downtown early afternoon.
Not far from where we ate...You just never know.
Very unusual for Traverse.
Great photos, for a phone! Thanks for sharing such delectable looking items, makes me want to go looking for recipes to try, and I am not a Kitchen Diva!

What you had looked amazing. Kat and I talked about it and we believe this is one of the places we ate when we were in Traverse City this summer. The hot chocolate was what looked familiar...and the apple crepe. I thoroughly enjoyed our eating stops when we were somewhere up north.
ReplyDeleteI am licking my lips~ Yum.
ReplyDeleteanother friday's favorite :-)
Oh my yumminess! Who knew the French had invaded Traverse City. I'll have to let my famiy know ~ they are at our family cottage in Gaylord this weekend.
