I've decided to be a small part of her endeavor....today I've purchased the yarn and tonight I'll sart my scarf.

Kathy -- the yarn is gorgeous and I am thrilled that you are going to make this into a beautiful scarf for the project. I cant imagine what it must be like to have a personal battle with breast cancer -- but for those who know this demon first hand -- I truly believe that a gift such as this can turn a bad day into a "better day." A warm hug from someone who cared enough to make a beautiful scarf and then give it away to a perfect stranger.
