when I spotted this new garlic press ...the handle, it was the handle that did it...it's my color...a pretty coral ...I had to have it.
Some things are just NOT what they seem....
does it work ?...yes...but not well
That's what I get for buying something just because it's pretty.....
especially since I already have one that I love and works wonderfully...
What was I thinking???...
It had to be the color...that's the only thing I can think of!!!...
Now I must apologize to my "Tried and True" garlic press....
This made me so hungry! I love garlic bread! YUM!
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely! And the secrets safe with me....shhhhh, please pass another piece!
ReplyDeleteYummmm, your garlic toast looks so delicious... and I have not had dinner yet.
ReplyDeleteHang on,
ReplyDeleteI will be right over. It looks too good to pass up! and crunchy, my favorite!!
I will never ever tell your other garlic press,
that would just be mean and cruel. I have to say the other one is quite pretty, love that coral color. Well, she will just have to lay around and be pretty, while the real worker does the job!! lol
Hope your having a good week after all your earlier excitement.
Blessings hon,
Nellie
This looks yummy, Kathy. Your press is pretty and the handle looks like it would be easy to grip. I have Pampered Chef garlic presses, here and at the lake. Love those.
ReplyDeleteIt is cute:) I have a tried and true and we have been less than faithful also:)
ReplyDeleteBut we still have and love the old one..
We had this Sat night..isn't it delicious delicious?
I like your idea of Herbes De Provence ..! My fave blend and yet I have never added it to my garlic butter.
Thank you..
Have fun w/ your giveaway..I know you can't wait!
I love petty kitchen thingees! I usually just display them and never try to use them. Afraid the same will happen as with yours. Sometimes, we just have to keep them for looks.
ReplyDeleteThat garlic bread sure looks yummy!
hugs
Sissie
caught me while hungry!!!
ReplyDeleteKathy,
ReplyDeleteSometimes you have to try something new, even if it is only because you like the wonderful coral color! Display that one and use the old one!
The bread turned out picture perfect!

Yum Yum! Now for some good soup to go with that delicious garlic (bad press!) bread and we shall weather the storms of winter for a while longer. Keep creating...
ReplyDeleteJust stuffed from a late dinner, but I could find room for a piece of that : ) Looks delicious!! & there might just be a lesson in there someplace. Pretty is nice, but substance, depth & character have more value : )
ReplyDeleteAnd.. "and a Love Story"... is that new to your page?...It is very sweet..
We've battled twice with my husband... gives me a whole new perspective... I see things ( & him ) much differently
Thanks for sharing

Kathy you are so funny! I don't think it will mind, now it has someone to play with. Okay, maybe it is a little weird, wondering if you will hurt your old garlic presses feelings, but it's a weirdness I suffer from as well.lol
ReplyDeleteThat garlic toast looks sooo divine my dear. yikes, now I'm hungry again.
hugs
Yummy on that garlic toast, Kathy. Such mouth-watering photos!!! I could smell them.
ReplyDeleteI have a similar garlic press. I liked the way the garlic came out, but it is impossible to clean. You have to soak and soak, then use a cake tester to get through those holes. It's a pain to use!
Kathy, Those toasts look great. Herbs de Provence? Wonderful idea. I need a bite of those now!
ReplyDeletePam
Yum! That will go good with the lasagna tomorrow!
