Been trying to go through Ina Garten's cookbooks this winter and see how many recipes I can get under my belt....seriously might need a wider belt by the time I finish!...This is her Spinach Puff Pastry from her..."Barefoot In Paris" cookbook...( wouldn't we all like to be!)... barefoot in Paris that is....It was fun to make...
not hard at all...Oooooo....Puffed nicely...
A scrumptious presentation....a great Company meal... We both agreed...this was a keeper! What's on your Super Bowl Sunday Menu? xoxo~Kathy.
I just asked dave..." what teams are playing this year"...I know, I know, what can I say...
When I was issued the Football Gene...It saw all this PINK...SHABBY CHIC..GIRL THING going on and LEFT.
You sound like you are about as much into watching football as I am... I can't ever seem to be looking at the right guy! I love Ina, She cooks more like me than any of the others on t.v. , Her and Rachel Ray. I will give this one a try , it looks so good. thanks
ReplyDeleteHi..you are like me....not a huge fan of the Superbowl! I'll cheer for whoever! This Spinach Pie looks wonderful. Glad you gave it a try. I have this cookbook and have been eyeballing this recipe for a long time. I have to try it now! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy,
ReplyDeleteOh, that spinach puff pastry looks delicious. Our Superbowl menu will probably be soup from a can and bread sticks (reheated) in our RV while we are camped in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Actually we may be the ONLY couple NOT watching the Superbowl as neither of us is interested in professional football or baseball. We left Walt Disney World Sat. morning and are on our way home to SE PA. Hubby is on his laptop checking out the conditions of I-95 in Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware and PA. We hope it is all clear after the BIG snow storm. (Our neighbor emailed us that we got 2 feet of snow at home.) We plan to get up at 6 AM to drive the final leg of our trip arriving home late afternoon tomorrow. I hope that your day goes well for you and your hubby tomorrow. I'll be praying that the chemo kills those horrible cancer cells. Your road is a much tougher one to travel than ours.
Hugs and much love,
Teacup Lane (Sandy)

I have to agree that I am not much on football either. I'm blogging and my husband is watching the game. Perfect.
