ReplyDeleteCongratulations on being published, you must be thrilled. I love the tag you made, it's beautiful. I love the Stampington family, too. I have quite a few of their issues. I keep all of them and pull them out when I need ideas for something I'm making. I'm glad that Dave did so well on his first round of chemo. I am a breast cancer survivor of 6 1/2 yrs. I didn't have chemo, just surgery and radiation. I hope he continues to do well. Just think positive thoughts!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting for you Kathy - your work is just as delightful as it's Creator! Glad to hear Dave's Chemo. Rx went smoothly - trust in your Dr's., there are amazing treatment advances being made every day.
ReplyDeleteMillie ^_^
This is my first time to your blog, and it is gorgeous! I grew up in the Detroit area and traveled to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario often. So I saw a great deal of the UP. In fact, I am heading up there next week to see my new grandson.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on opening the mailbox and finding out you were published! Yea for you!
Good news about your husband! My prayers are with you both during this healing time.
Hugs,
Terri
Hi Kathy and Dave,
ReplyDeleteWhat great news about Dave's first week of chemo.
So glad he is doing so well. Praise the Lord!!
So neat that your bookmark was published. It is so neat, I would really love to see a copy of that magazine. I am gonna have to go to one of the book stores to look for it. I am assuming it is the Feb. issue. That has to just be the most exciting and neat thing for you, isn't God's timing just amazing!!
Will keep praying...........
Does Dave go again next Monday???
Have a great weekend,
and you two have a totally wonderful Valentines day!! Love it up!! lol
Blessings, Nellie
I agree with all the other comments. You blog is very peaceful to come to and so glad that I can keep up on Dave's progress. Where do I find the magazine that you were published in? Also, did you get my earring? No hurry just want to make sure it did not get lost in the mail. Deb sent me a package an it took two weeks to get here! Must be because they couldn't get through all the snow! Praying Dave will continue to do well. Blessings, Joanne
ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon your blog late last night, then I read about your husband ( mine was in the hospital on Christmas battling with that ugly C.)
ReplyDeleteThen I read "Goodwill" & later "Spud Warehouse" ( can't go within an hour without making that important detour : ) & I thought "this woman & I could be great friends" : )
I will be praying for you & Dave... I know how gut-wrenching it is to hold hands with the one you love, going thru this.
AND Congrats on being published!!!
In a devotional recently... " Whatever is over your head, is under HIS feet"
Congratulations, Kathy!! You are so talented in so many ways. I am sure this is just the beginning of your work being published.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sheila
You are one of the most talented people I've known. Congratulations on being published...no surprise to me, tho. Every thing you do is perfect!!
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful things are going smoothly for Dave. I've sent about 3 emails to you but think they didn't ever get to you. ?? ANYway, just saying that my Bill has survived 4 life-threatening cancers, all with surgery, so believe in prayer...IT WORKS.
love, bj
