This year I thought it would be fun to bring the kitchen table out into the three season porch...
I love it out there...
Created a little dining area...
brings out the Cottage summer feel and I think our friends will like the change of pace too!
I'm all for changing it up and I know many of you are too...
Put this old door behind this little two door hutch I found at a Garage sale years ago...
Painted up the doors....Actually the roses I cut out of wall paper...glued them on and embellished them with paint.
Every year they get softer looking due to the suns fading...I like that.
The hutch with it's new coat of white lovliness....from last year.
Oh how I would love to have a porch like that. Yours is just stunning. I love everything about it. Your decorations are so pretty and it is so inviting. I think I would spend all my time out there if I could. Gorgeous. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteCan I come live with you? I think I'd never leave! I love this porch. We are in the middle of a house rennovation and my husband will be building a small porch on the front. It won't be enclosed though. It will have white railing all the way around. I am excited about it! I wish I could have this shabby white decor, but I'm married to a huntin', fishin', outdoor workin' guy and I know it wouldn't stay white for long :( Oh well! I wouldn't exchange him for anything!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy,
ReplyDeleteI love your summer porch-I would want to live out there for sure!
Carolyn
Kathy:
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous room! I'd love to sit and share a cuppa tea with you there any day!

O my what a gorgeous porch!!! I love it all! I am working on my detached sunroom which has stained wood all around the wall and ceiling. THe wood is so pretty and DH begged me now to paint it so I am trying to brighten the area up with lighter furniture. I spent all day painting things today! I wish it looked like your pictures but cabin/cottage is going to be more the look I think.
ReplyDeleteI'm going over to hit the follow button so I can see more of your lovely home!
Your porch is just stunning Kathy. It takes my breath away just looking at it. And if I sat out there I wouldn't want to leave. I love my porch but it isn't three seasons (just screened in) like yours and the pollen is so bad here I just keep a table with chairs and two comfortable chairs out there. So mine is pretty bare. Perhaps one of these days I will get brave and put more things out. I love the stroll through yours - all the pretty things - and that blue bird picture is just lovely. Well, everything is just lovely. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Teacup Lane (Sandy)
No porch:( but yours is lovely! I enjoyed seeing it!
ReplyDeletenot THAT ready! :) you have created a charming
ReplyDeleteplace to enjoy friends and family.
mine is a little hardier and much less lovely!
We have a screened in porch that is covered in pollen. I think it is about over so I will start the cleaning and fixing it up soon. All these lovely porches have inspired me.
ReplyDeleteThat porch would have sold me on the house, too. I just have a little square concrete front porch with a small step and no porch on the back. It's too cold to do anything much with the patio yet - and everything has to be rainproof! It will be nice on the patio this summer but now? Not so much! Love what you've done with your wonderful porch. Having a bit of trouble not feeling a teeny, tiny bit of jealousy. I really want a porch. Hmmm, maybe we could add one!

ReplyDeleteOur porches are open so not as creatively packaged as your lovely porch. Still, we enjoy having coffee or tea or wine while listening to the cattle, sheep and horses.
ReplyDeleteYour porch is so serene, it shows the work of loving hands.

ReplyDeleteI"m lovin' it all Kathy. You are such an inspiration for me. I have a sweet little porch also, well 12x16, but has windows all around. That's the problem with putting pieces like a hutch in the corner, but I'm going to try it girlfriend.
