I came outside to sit in the sun ....soak up some rays and read for a bit...

A white van pulled into my driveway....I waved...she waved back...
she handed me these beautiful "SPRINGTIME TULIPS"....

The card said..."It's Spring"...Time for more Tulips"...Love Cindy!!!! Cindy?????

I knew it must have been a type-o.....

I called the florist...sure enough , it was a type-o...CANDY...Now that makes sense!!!

Only my friend who's known me for ever....would know I'd welcome tulips today...

HOPING THE VIEW IS GOOD AND LIFE GRAND FROM YOUR PERCH IN THIS WORLD!

These two photos are a great analogy of our lives at this point...When I took them last fall I had no idea that the POST we were so comfortably perched on...this life of ours...was going to be interrupted to such a degree.
I felt like these seagulls......happy and content to have my own little perch to rest on in this world of ours...... Since January....I feel like these gulls....trying to stay one step ahead of the big dragon...
No time to rest and feel NORMAL like before, ( what is normal anyway?)...Instead our minds are always doing some form of mental gymnastics....
There are days I feel I'm too old to go out for the OLYMPICS...and the gymnastics are too much, but then I hear that small strong voice reassuring me..."I'll never allow more then you can handle in your life"....and I'm encouraged once again and take my stance with sword in hand ... stare boldly into the face of doubt and slay it once again....
Today was a glorious day....the sun shining brilliantly...chemo administered without a hitch...some of our Children came to help the time pass.
David is feeling good....eating well, and even golfing on the off week of Chemo.
Sometimes I have a hard time wrapping my head around the severity of this cancer because he feels so well...to look at him you'd never know.

Hoping everything is sunny and calm from your perch in this world...Enjoy every moment!

A SPRING BANNER....DID YOU HEAR THAT...MOTHER NATURE????

Fireplace was in need of a little, SPRING BANNER...

So I whipped one up...all paper...and a little ribbon......EASY.
Now that's better....

We NEED a banner to announce SPRING here...since Mother Nature isn't cooperating...

We had a dusting of snow on the first day of SPRING.....

Mother Nature....she needs hormones....a little crabby!

A bread so COOL.....you'll need your shades on to eat it!...

I enjoy baking bread from scratch...BUT!

When the doorbell rings and company presents themselves for dinner...this will get you rave reviews...

Doesn't matter what your main course is....they talk about the bread!

Rarely a morsel left!

So....CHILL, and find a "Tastefully Simple "dealer and stock your pantry...

Then just sit back and admire your "COOL SELF"...

MY REPUTATION PROCEEDS ME ONCE AGAIN!!!.....

You know my motto is ..."You got it...I wanna see it!)....So I've been hauling out all the
Springtime I can find from my storage...
Think their glad to be out of their boxes...Once again!

A Young man was in our home the other day from Charter Cable ...To take a look at our T.V....
He kept looking around and finally said to my husband....
"Boy, You must have a lot of space for "SEASONAL" storage...."
I laughed and assured him we did...
Funny that a guy would notice that...and even funnier that he would comment!...
a couple days later I was in a local salon waiting to get a haircut and HE.....came in and recognized me...came over and said hello...and then let everyone sitting there know I was the gal with all the "SEASONAL" decorations!!!!!
That's called ...having your Reputation Proceed you...Yikes!!
