Just sharing the LOVE...

Come for a little walk with me to the shed....
I have a little surprise for you!
Been working out here the last couple days sprucing up this area and adding a mulched bed around this section.
Cleaning it up a bit...

I thought it time to give the flowerbox a fresh face...
When I started to remove the old flowers...
I know....
Babies...

Just look at that blueness...

Guess I'll just head back to the house and wait for the birthing!!!!
No sprucing there today...

Just sharing the LOVE...
xoxo~Kathy.

  2. What a cute shed - love your flower boxes. I want to do my flower boxes but hubby didn't think I should since we will be gone all summer (to Alaska) and he felt that was too long a time to ask our neighbors to water them. I think he is right but.. oh...I do want to plant something so badly. Your back yard is just stunning - what green, green grass and such a lovely home.

  3. Hi Kathy! Oh, I just love your little special place and what gorgeous little eggs! They look like they've been dyed for Easter! :)
Your home is so pretty sitting there among the trees.
I hope you'll be coming to my party on Friday! I would love to have you.
    Be a sweetie,

  4. Oh the color of those eggs takes my breathe away.
I just love it. How sweet to find those. We had a birds nest with eggs and babies that a bird built inside of a fertilizer bag inside our shed.
They were so precious, but they weren't the pretty color of these eggs, but the babies were
adorable. I always thought they took the babies out to learn to fly then brought them back and did it again for a number of days, but one day
I saw them all in a bush and she was teaching them to fly and that was the end of that!! Never saw them again!! Waaaaaaaaah!!
    Was fun while it lasted.
Your grass looks so green and pretty!!
Thanks for sharing that fun bit of nature!!
    Have a delightfully Wonderful day!
    Blessings, Nellie

  9. Such pretty blue eggs - looking forward to the update. A pretty white duck has a nest near our river, Hubby is banned from mowing until all the ducklings are gone (tall grass drives him crazy). I hope to have photos soon too.

  12. God is the ultimate artist, huh? What an incredible color!! Can't wait for the sweet babies to appear...how fun!

Your shed and the landscaping around it have really inspired me to start working on the OUTSIDE of my studio, which is housed in a converted shed...it looks ok inside, but outside, not so much... Thanks for the inspiration!!

Hope your hubby is doing well...I continue to lift him and all of you in my prayers...Lord Bless You!!

  15. I love the sweet blue eggs you found - some mother is working hard for her babies. And you will be able to watch them grow and have the sweet little nest as a reminder of their little sweetness! We had one just above our patio door a couple of years ago - we had a 'strange' door casing that was wide and the mama Robin decided it was the perfect place for her babies. Until she discovered how often we opened and closed that door and sat on the patio! She often sat on the shed roof nearby and scolded us for sitting to enjoy a calm evening. The door and casing have been replaced and there is no place for a birdie 'birth center' anymore.

  20. O, everything looks just wonderful. I am just in awe of the blueness of those little tiny eggs. So pretty.

How do you put your name on all your photos..? I love that and don't have a clue how to do it except in Picnik and then it would take FOREVER to put my name on all my photos. I am assuming there is a faster way..:)

  21. Your attention and work shows in how lovely everything is. You certainly do not have any voracious deer. Happy planting...after the babies have hatched and left the nest. :o)

  25. Hi Kathy - I bet you spend a lot of time at that shed. It is so pretty. I have a nest on my front porch tucked into the side of the roof. Beats me how she found that spot but it seems to work for her. I am anxious to hear the babies (can't see them where it is) and hopefully see them as they grow a bit. Isn't this time of year wonderful! Hugs, Deb

  26. Beautiful and peace yard and what a special surprise to find the sweet nest....Won't you have fun watching them grow and learn to fly...and, they are safe there. The Robins try to nest on our front porch, but we won't let them as one year the babies kept going into the street and we weren't always aware to run rescue them.... We had three little funerals that year....
You aren't really so far away...we are in Port Huron....
    Enjoy your babies!
