A Shabby Chandelier Story...












On my way to buy a bird house Friday morning, enjoying the day and glad to be driving along with the wind blowing in my hair....What's this I see?...4 signs...STOP...TURN IN HERE...GARAGE SALE...YOUR HERE! Well, why not...I'm not in a hurry, I'll just give it a quick scan, take a peek. THERE IT WAS...just hanging there on a cupboard smiling at me.
"Excuse me, is the chandelier for sale?"...Oh, this one?(Only one there), "Yes."
Let me see...Jenny, is this yours, this lady wants to know if your selling it? Yeah!, $9 bucks...
SERIOUSLY I'm thinkin...only $9 dollars...Don't you love it? What a great ride! and I did get our new birdhouse which I'll share as soon as Mr. Wonderful gets it in the ground, xoxo~Kathy $9.00, wouldn't you have said $10.00, round it off and everything?????Ha!

    Great find, Kathy! And was it painted and with crystals and everything, all ready for its new home? I'll have to be more of an earlybird at those yardsales:) I enjoy your blog.

    Hi Kathy!

    What a lucky turn....I found a lovely old tole chandelier at our little all-city garage sale a couple of years ago for five dollars.......I COULD not wait to get home and tell the Hubbs....I was so thrilled.
