    Dear Kathy...

  5. I could not have made my fight alone...my husband has been my strength, as you will be for your hubby. Chemo is not easy, I won't lie about that...but, they have so many meds now that help with many of the side effects....he can do it.
You will always pray this is a mistake. I still do...and I pray for God to heal me. I know HE CAN....but please believe me, there is joy again. My life is good. I have some bad days, I get frustrated...but life is worth fighting for! Thanks for posting!!

  24. Kathy,

I'm so sorry to hear you distressing news... I follow your blog and am a fellow Michigander as well.

I have a dear friend battling colon cancer at the young age of 50. She was diagnosed last Easter and is/was stage four. Her husband, an orthopedic surgeon in Saginaw started a blog to keep friends and family updated on her progress as she has been fighting this disease. I think both you and your husband will find his words, their journey and progress inspirational and full of hope!
Here is the blog address: http://debarifamily.blogspot.com/

Prayers to you, your husband and your family!
