WAITING ON THE STRONG ...STILL VOICE...

I miss you all so much....have been trying to look in on you when I have some time...
We are in a waiting mode...very difficult, waiting with not many answers.
I suspect there will be a lot happening this next week and we will come to miss this quiet time we are having right now...We look in each others eyes ...searching...always trying to remove the others fears, hundreds of times a day.
It's is an exhausting practice...but love is the motivator, so it becomes a ritual.
Our ritual...
born out of love... Your words of comfort and promise of prayer are a source of joy and strength for us...
It is said that times like these can bring a couple closer together...
therein lies the anxiety...Can two be too close?...seems to make times like this harder.
Gods perfect LOVE casts out fear...We are counting on it, standing on it... and finding Him Faithful...Missing you xoxo~Kathy.

I am so sorry to learn of this low valley you and your husband are traveling. I am a little slow getting around to reading blogs..have been doing lots of grandmothering.
I just learned of all this this very morning.
Please know, along with so many others, my prayers are going up to for the both of you and your family. Times like this, I hardly know what to say....I pray God wraps you all in comfort and knowledge that HE loves you all so very, very much...

  7. Continuing to pray for you and your dear hubby. Waiting is so hard but we know we can't always be 'doing'. No, you can't ever look into each other's eyes and savor the moments together too much! Not possible. We should do it always - in the good times as well as the tough ones. Lean hard into the Father's arms today, my friend.

  11. Waiting is so hard -- and yet waiting for the unknown is much harder. We are on a waiting vigil ourselves -- knowing what is in store. My dear FIL is in his final days and we wait -- I will pray for you and your husband as you await news -- that your news will be promising and hopeful.

  13. May the Lord give you both strength and courage. Perhaps, He may heal your husband. Know that nothing in heaven or earth happens without His decree and all is worked out together for good to them that love God.

  15. The waiting is so very hard. Maybe it's allowing our hearts and minds to gather strength and the time to remember what is the most important. You have the utmost in the important things. Your love for each other and your faith! It's all you need dear Kathy. xxoo Cathy G

  16. Kathy, just a thought: Remember that whatever may be coming, good or bad, it's not here TODAY. Today you only have the things of today to deal with. The rest will wait. Today is enough to deal with today.

Our fears are about things that are (mostly) in the future or the past. If we can live in today then the fears aren't so powerful--they can't spoil what's here today.

One day at a time. You can do this.

  18. Waiting anxiously with you today that the results will bring good news. We never know how much we love someone until we realize that we could lose them. Praying for you and Dave today that you will be able to share that love together for many more years. God is able. Keep standing strong and firm. Love you guys!

  19. Kathy,
I am new to your blog, but my heart is with you.....as I dearly love my hubby and can only imagine the fear the enemy tries to invoke upon you!
    My Prayer for you both:
Lord, bless this dear couple with a sense of your presence, and then that peace that passes all understanding.
Give them the strength and faith they need for this valley, help them to cling to you and to each other. Help it to bring out your best in them, and other around them. May they understand in a new way, how much you and others love them!
    In Jesus Precious Name!

Will continue to pray, continue to keep us updated!
    Sincerely, Nellie
