IF YOU EAT YOUR SWEET POTATOES...I'LL GIVE YOU A COOKIE!!!! little boy...

Some meals are too colorful to just eat and not remember.. Blue cheese, cherries, yellow peppers, green salad, sweetpotatoe medallions, broccoli, and orange chicken with "Herbs de Provence"... Basic...but pretty...
How does one get a husband to eat sweet potatoes???? The perfect food!
Just a big smile and "Sorry honey" ..."Everything looks great!...nice try with the sweet potatoes"!... seriously!!!! ..won't even taste them.

so, I ate his too...MMMmmmm.

And now for a little evening sewing...

Haven't decided if it will be a pillow or a purse...We'll see...

Night crafting....are you an evening crafter?
Looks like SUNSHINE today...a good day for photos...
Have been ignoring the snow and thinking spring...
working on Projects around the house... "Springerizing" as I say!
today will be a good day to shoot them.
Hope your day is sunny ...even snow is tolerable with sunshine!...
Happy NEW WEEK, xoxo~Kathy.

  1. We love sweet potatoes here! Yours look delicious! I have been out of the crafting loop for awhile. Starting to slowly get back in with just a few things recently. But typically I do mostly during the day. When I use to cross stitch I would do that at night while watching the tube. Beautiful pictures by the way!

  2. Kathy- I smiled. Sometimes husbands are worse than little boys :). Personally, I'm with you on the sweet potatoes! Sunshine just seems to make everything a little better. Enjoy yours and good luck with your photos!

I have to get busy and start crafting again. Me, if I'm crafting I can forget to make supper so I can keep on going!

  9. Morning Kathy,
You are right to try and get those sweet potatoes down them, they are such a healthy source of food. We put a lil light butter, honey, cinnamon and nuts on top. My hubby loves them like that.

or you could make a sweet potato pie, if you never had one it is just like a pumpkin pie, but I actually like them better, course, I do love the pumpkin too. Course, he is probably not suppose to be eating a lot of sugar is he??
    Maybe not a good idea!

Thank you so much for your lovely comments last week, it so touched my heart!! You are certainly a sweetie yourself!! and I am so glad I have met you in bloggy world!!

Yea, I am starting to get a lil itchy to spring a size myself!! I used dark colors in the winter with burgundy being a biggie and funny that since it is March today I find myself ready to get rid of the red & dark and go to pink & pastels, course, since it is cold out still that helps cause some years I have changed over early then it turned off cold and I missed my warm colors and thought I should have waited!! lol

Can't wait to see what you are gonna make there!
Be sure and post it, cause we are all nosey and wanna see!! lol

Have a Sweet day my friend, and know we are praying for you guys,
    Blessings, Nellie

  10. Oh yea, and by the way, dinner looked yummy!!
What type of salad dressing did you use on your lovely salad??? I love different types of salads,
cause I love salads, but don't want to eat the same one all the time. One of my favorites in romaine, purple onions with strawberries or raspberries, and walnuts or pecans with Paul Newmans raspberry vinagrette dressing.
    It is to die for!
    Have a good one hon,
    Nellie

  13. Hi Kathy,
My hubby is the same - he won't even try sweet potatoes and I love them. Lots of butter and brown sugar - yummy! I craft day and night if I can. Our sun is shining too! Snow is still on the ground though. Can't believe it is March 1 already. Spring is coming....oh, your music is beautiful!

    Hugs,
