"The touch, the feel of cotton....the fabric of our lives...." Remember that commercial?... There are some questions about the quilt...Yes it's hand made. Squares with stars in the centers and an appliqued leaf border . Hangs high above the shower on a pressure rod so as not to get wet when the showers in use. It's the boldest splash of color in the room...
Sun shining, a soft breeze moving the chenille curtain, Heavenly...
Well... there you have it, Le Bath ... with many tweeks to come in the future I'm sure...
I hope your time here was enjoyable and you came away with some ideas to make your place a little more your own, xoxo~Kathy. HAPPY SATURDAY... p.s. Hi Kathy,
ReplyDeleteI love what you have done to your bathroom.
I enjoyed my visit here and thank you for visiting me and leaving a kind comment,
Carolyn
A delighful creative site you've featured here, Kathy. Thanks for stopping by and introducing yourself to another fellow Michigan blogger. My dauther-in-law's family has a cottage near you at Lake Missaukee! I'm writing from our cottage here at Hubbard Lake. A late comment since my sister died unexpectedly last week ... we are here with heavy hearts dealing with details. I've added myself to your followers, hoping to catch up on all when I return home tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment! I'm so glad to meet you!! I have been going through post after post on your blog! Your photos are great and I'm loving all the projects! The bathroom is fabulous...the shower curtain, the wire basket, all the towels...adoring it all!!!

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I am delighted that you did so, because I'd never have found yours if you hadn't!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of chenille curtains in the bath - and I love all that white! I haven't smelled, "Beach" but my current favorite is "Sea Island Cotton" from Bath & Body Works... it smells like fresh air and sheets drying on the line to me.
Your grandchildren are lovely, and it's good to know that I'll have someone to craft with again one of these days!
What a lovely blog, what a lovely bathroom!

Love what you've done with your bathroom. Looks so relaxing. I also enjoyed looking at the pictures of your grands on your sidebar. They are what's important.
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed your Le Bath series Kathy - as one who loves a bath it was perfect. Thank you for your visit to French Essence, xv.
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy! I've been drooling over your "tweaks" since you started and I love your grand finale! Such a fresh and lovely bathroom. Even with a small window, the bathroom looks so sun-filled. The more I see the knobs on the cabinet, the more I really like them! You did a fabulous job!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a lovely weekend!

Hi Cathy!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your lovely message! Nice to meet another blogfriend :)
Gosh, your images are so big and impressive, I get a really good feeling how is looks like in your home. And what an airy and light bathroom you have! Pretty! Our bathroom is so incredible tiny and has not a single window. I miss that a lot, and specially a bigger room for the both of us. But this apartement is temporary, so we have time enought to find a house with a big bathroom. First on my list!! And then a huge kitchen :)
Have a great week!
Aina
Kathy- I just finished reading through your entire bath serios and I love it! Those chenille curtains are so beautiful and all the white really brightens up the space. Your photos are incredible as well, what kind of camera do you use? I've just started looking for a new camera for close up detail shots.
ReplyDeleteBobby Brown Beach would look really good on one of my shelves in the bathroom!
ReplyDeleteI just wandered over from another blog and I am so happy I did! You have made me feel so welcome and I enjoyed the tour of your beautiful bathroom. Have a nice week! Twyla
