White chenille curtains ...I knew that bedspread would come in handy sometime...and a vintage soap dish below holding a bar of "Fairy soap"....something fun to look at below the window...amongst the flowers...
A Beachy, Tablescape print...
I Made the shower curtain out of another bedspread I have, (used to collect them)...A sweet button pin holds back the opening just a little... The pin was another fun project...
More tomorrow my sweeties...I'm embarrassed to tell you how many shots I took, so I won't!!! Let's just say you'll be peeking at "Le Bath" for a few days... xoxo~Kathy, Have a lovely one...
Oooh...I just love the thought of using fluffy white chenille for window and shower curtains...what a grand idea!!! What a great use of those pretty bedspreads! And...I love that button heart...it's soooo pretty!!! Ooooh...now I just want to see the entire bath! Hehe! Thanks for sharing your pretties with us today!
Just lil' ol' me again! Hehe! Okay, my friend...tell me I'm not going nuts! When I came by earlier...I didn't see the full shot photos of your fabulous bath! Hmmm...thus my comment (from earlier) requesting to see the entire bath! Hehe!
Anyway...now that I AM seeing the entire bath...it's just lovely, my friend!!! I love all the pretty fluffy white!!! Your chenille shower curtain looks fabulous...love that idea! And I love your old chippy basket full of the new fluffy white washcloths...soooo very pretty! Your "Le Shave" sign and mug are precious!!! It really is in all the details, isn't it!
HI Kathy! Oh, I'm loving your bathroom! You've done an outstanding job on it! I would never have thought to use a chenille bedspread as curtains and a shower curtain. I love the look with the sun shining through! Such a calm and pretty place. Be a sweetie, Shelia ;)
Well! Those chinelle curtains "undone" me! (you can tell I have been watching My Fair Lady...among other such films. :) I love those curtains...and now think I will copy them AND add a little shelf under the window. How sweet that is! I actally feel the desire to create again..sort of..but it is coming back. I cannot wait to see the rest of the photo's! Bring 'em on! The little details...so lovingly put together ..just so sweet. See you tomorrow! Hugs and love.. Mona
Hi, Kathy, Your bathroom is just so full of cute ideas. Can't wait to see the rest of the pics! Also, I had to tell you how much I enjoyed your cute comment about the "dolphins" on my beach tablescape! :) Thanks, D
Thank You girls for all your sweet comments, and Mona... I'm so glad to see you here and feeling a little better! Wanted to let you know the flowers below the Bath window are actually in a little wire shelf basket, similar to the washcloth basket in structure...So see, you don't even need a real shelf, just hang an oblong basket... Hope your inspired! Love to you all, xoxo~Kathy.
YOU HAVE SUCH A BREATHTAKING BLOG, WOULD YOU BE SO KIND AS TO TELL ME WHERE YOU GOT THE PATTERN FOR THE BUTTONS. I KEPT MY MOTHER'S IN A JAR BUT WOULD LOVE TO DISPLAY THEM TOO! MANY THANKS...
Ms. Anonymous... I didn't have a pattern, sorry... I just cut out a heart from muslin, sewed it together, stuffed with fiberfill and then sewed a Pin attachment on the back. Then just started sewing buttons on, one by one. A good night in front of the TV project!!! Let me know how that goes, or if I can be of any more help... xoxo~Kathy.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me...I am always encouraged by your kind expressions and thoughtful comments....Know that you are loved....xoxo Kathy.
