SAUGATUCK / DOUGLAS...Just waking up for the summer...

Even though this little sleepy town was still in the process of waking up for the season, we still found plenty to do and see while in the Saugatuck / Douglas area...
Will share more as soon as I get caught up around here...a little...

Sunny drives...exploring the countryside...80 degrees!!!!!...imagine that!
This lighthouse was soooo far out....I'm impressed I could even pull it in enough to get a shot...
you can even see people !!!!!...couldn't make them out from the shoreline!

The shoreline .....beautiful no matter what season....

Everyone needs a little "Getaway"....when are you taking yours??????
Thanks were the most delightful host!

  8. Hi Kathy,
When hubby and I lived in the Chicago area we loved to take our RV over to the Lake Superior Michigan coast and visit all the lovely towns. We dreamed about living on the lake shore - and I do mean dreamed. I'm sure it is way too expensive now though.
