Frames were$1.00 at GW....the two Very cool hangers I found at the new thrift...
and the wooden lamp, (loved the lines) from GW also....
a great day!
usually I need to repaint and spruce up everything to make it my own....
Only a little sanding and voila!
White...
Shabby...
and ready to go!
What do you think of adding some french numbers to the hangers?...could be very chic!
Clearance section at the Maxx...Thank You...I'll take that.
I think Mother Nature needs a "hot flash", sugar! That's way too cold for April. But you did good with your treasures....

A Day In The Life.....
Monique...
ReplyDeleteI have some friends who don't like to go to the goodwill...and others who love to.
These days Dave and I do most everything together.
If there's somewhere he'd rather go ...he'll just drop me off and I'll call him on the cell and he'll swing by and pick me up when I've gathered all the goodies!
Give them a try when your in Florida...You'll know immediately if it's for you or not!
I think it's the "diamond in the rough"
mentality...that keeps me going back...creating a treasure out of someones discarded "JUNK"!
xoxo~Kathy

Kathy, I love all your treasures. Don't you just love GW? My favorite spot. I stop by there several times a week to look for treasures. Haven't found anything great lately. I'm loving all your white stuff. I am seriously thinking of doing a white guest bedroom when I re-do it. Won't that be fun? Love & blessings from NC!

Love all the treasures you found! We have several GW stores that have opened in our area, and I will hit everyone of them!! Yes, I think mother nature is going through menopause!! This morning it is 38 here! My poor plants in the greenhouse, I hope that they are ok..

ReplyDeletesnow in April? M.N. just needs a few hot flashes to turn the season dial and bring on the flowers.
Glad you got to come visit the flowers and sunshine in Texas.
Happy Day Anyway ;-)

Mother Nature can play some dirty tricks with Michigan weather, Kathy! How well I remember.
ReplyDeleteYou got some great finds!
Kathy, you gals are FINALLY inspiring me. I found 3 antique windows similar to yours ... what I originally wanted to do with the help of another, can't happen, so one day a LIGHT BULB WENT OFF ... I actually had an idea of my own. I am soooo excited & hope I can actually pull it off ... if NOT, then out comes my real talent, writing a check to have someone else do it.
ReplyDeleteHope your sweetheart is doing better ... I think of you both often, my friend.
WOW! What a stash you got ... good for you. I nearly bought the same frame yesterday TJM as you did.
Have a lovely weekend.
TTFN ~Hugs, Marydon

HI KATHY!!!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to let you know that you have won a painting from my giveaway. Chloe chose the winner of the cherry blossom painting, which was number 6 ( sorry:) but because everyone had been so kind in entering, I decided to give away another smaller painting. (9"x12") My husband drew number 205 and that is YOU! Congrats!!
You can e-mail me your address at mmarsh824@aol.com and I will send it to you on Monday!!!
Have a lovely weekend, Kathy!
xo,
Melanie
Kathy, remember when I posted about Melanie's giveaway at Pretties and Posies? Well, guess what? You won!!! I am so excited that I posted, you saw it and you won!!! You did not win the original painting, but another really pretty one that she decided to give away as a bonus. Melanie was also excited that you lived near her. I hope you enjoy your painting and I am so thrilled that you won!!!! Have a great weekend. Love & blessings from NC!
