when I spotted this ..ahum...not so pretty gal at a GW...
I thought she had good bones...
Loved her legs...
nice upper torso...
just the size for my small space...
Grabbed her and brought her home...
Sanded her down...
and made her part of the Family...
She preferred the shabby dress...so I consented...
Her legs trump mine altogether!...
PERFECT...
Playing with the girls today at "Faded Charm Cottage"...for White Wednesday!!!

Up-Date on my Love....
Up-Date on my Love....
Dave is now hooked up to his 6th and hopefully last chemo before surgery.
His oncologist has scheduled the "All telling" PET scan for May 10th.
We all have the highest of hopes that this scan will show that the chemo was the drug of choice that has kicked some major Cancer cells into oblivian...
We are praying....
No new spreading...
Huge tumor shrinkage to warrent surgery for the liver...and colon.
We all of course, pray for total healing ...in the Lord we know all things are possible.
Tomorrow Dave gets the chemo disconnected and he has three weeks to come down off the symptoms before the scan...
He is looking forward to doing some projects around the house and golfing...a lot!
Since his diagnoses in January...this journey has been challenging to say the least.
Not one I would have chosen...but non the less to witness Gods hand on a daily basis has been priceless.
We both comment often and wonder...
How do people get through the deep valleys in life without knowledge and belief in the Lord Jesus?
We can hardly imagine....
My next entry about this topic will be the results of the scan...
As always ...your prayers are coveted.
My sweetiest of friends...I am so thankful for.
xoxo~Kathy

ReplyDeleteKathy,
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that you are going thru this. I know how difficult this all is. I have not gotten thru what we have been thru, especially since hubby's stroke in Nov., and coming home to Hospice in Feb., without God leading the way. Prayers for your husband and you.
Check out Renewal and Wellness's Protocel. It is wonderful, and we know someone who never did chemo, surgery, radiation, and is cured of his lung cancer after 2 1/2 yrs. And Ken has been amazing everyone. Although the brain part, and accessing his left hemisphere is definitely a huge challenge after his massive stroke, and severe disability. Also, Tania Harter Pierce's book-Outsmart your cancer-
Prayers. Lydia
Best of luck to him!
