Emeril and Wusthof....GOOD BED FELLOWS....

Today I'm doing a little infomercial for Emeril......I hope he sends me the royalties!!!!!
I'm always on the lookout for a great paring knife...My man ordered a couple on the Net for a surprise...A colaborated effort between Emeril and Wusthof....The test for me is peeling apples...so I peeled and peeled...
I LOVE the knife.....

I peeled a lot of apples in no time...Thank You Emeril....Thank You Wusthof...

Made a huge applecrisp.....

Which smelled so good, I forgot to take a photo of the beautiful thing....We ate it all...
Emeril is not helping the diet.....( I must blame someone!)... did I mention I LOVE this Knife!!! xoxo~Kathy

  3. I was looking forward to seeing the crisp!! Thanks so much for the review of the knife. I will keep it in mind. I have Henckels (not sure of spelling!). I like them, but I've always heard Wusthof is the cadillac of knives.

We still have lots of apples from our apple picking adventure. I need to make another crisp. Perhaps tomorrow evening.

  4. That looks so good I can almost taste it! I'm not much of a baker, but I can appreciate a good dessert when I see (or eat!) one.
Thank you so much for coming over to my place to congratulate me. I'm pretty jazzed!

  5. Some times you just need to throw the diet to the wind and go with the flow and eat what you want. A set of good knives is one of the keys to the cooking and baking trade. I took a cooking class this summer and they taught us how to sharpen the knife we had to use in class. I went home and and collected every knife and went to town sharpening and then cooking:) I had to laugh as I often eat the finished recipe before I take a photo:) All them more reason to make another one!

  8. Good, sharp knives make such a difference, don't they? I recently got a sharpener and can't believe how nice it is to have my knives like new all the time! We love apple crisp! It's one of those desserts that taste especially wonderful in the autumn!

  10. My cousin works for Emeril in New Orleans. He lost his own French Quarter deli in Katrina. We have a hodge-podge of knifes in our kitchen, none of them exceptional. Thanks for your reminder how one great tool can make all the difference! The apples look yummy!
