Love all those dresses and the lace. Brought back so many memories of dresses I made for my daughter. I have kept several of them, I even have my first communion dress my grandmother made for me. I still remember feeling so special in it and it is years and years ago LOL.
Oh Kathy, what a treat. Your little duds are utterly charming. I love the idea of hanging them in front of your curtains. What a tip!....my sewing room is ever so eensie beensie....no room to hang little lovelies. I so wish I could. They are all adorable and a feast for the eye.
Oh Kathy. I love them all!!!! I have a soft spot in my heart for beautiful little dresses like these, you think it's because I have five sons?? I can see why they inspire you sweet friend ~ xxoo, Dawn
Oh thanks for sharing your vintage view. You do have a sweet collection. Also enjoyed looking through you happy color...coral accents. Beautiful. Happy raining Tuesday in Texas ;-)
Thank you for leaving such a nice comment on my blog. I'm glad you enjoyed my dog, Gizzy. He's my "grandchild" now becaue I have just one daughter who is not married, nor wants children...so here I am, doting on my dog ;-)
I love those delicate, white dressed. Such beautiful embellishments and very dainty.
Have a great day :-) Doris (and Gizzy, my little "honey bee dog")
oh they are all so pretty! My husband's nana gave us a sweater that had been crocheted by his great great nana for a grandbaby...no one had even worn it...and no one will again after the first day and the photos were taken!
so nice of you for leaving me a comment on my blog, so now I could find your blog too! what a gorgious photo's! I love those vintage (look) dresses...just so sweet! Gr. Anna
Kathy, do you make lace? The dress you made looks like it's got handmade lace on it. Here in Belgium, there are still a few ladies who make the lace by hand. I love to watch them twiddling their bobbins. I can't imagine how they make sense out of them! It's gorgeous, though. Thanks for sharing these with us.
I love your vintage and not-so-vintage inspiration pieces. I have some that need to be displayed - oh where will I find the time to do what I want in my sewing room? Thanks for sharing yours today - you inspire me to make my special room a place that surrounds me with things I love! ~Adrienne~
