Oh, could we see more? Could we see your room from farther away so we can feel as if we have just walked in beside you? It would be such inspiration to help some of us who aren't gentically gifted toward organization. And it would be the best we could do until we ever (hopefully) could meet and have a for-real tour! Your photos are gorgeous and so inspirational - think I'll work on my room tomorrow. ~Adrienne~
Oh Mercy! I need you to come to my house for a month -- my craft/storage room could be your project of a lifetime! Now what is the little vintage looking spiky thingy that I see in your blog and lot's of people use them to display vintage postcards and such? I would love to get one, but don't even know what it's called?
I enjoy seeing your spaces also! I LOVE being organized..I did my craft closet 2 days before Christams..Of course I have baking stuff in there also..I have a nice room bright enough on a nice day w/ 2 windows..in the basement..a large airy room..but not pretty.. computer..printers..it's my office too:(
A drafting table.. an old teak chiffonier of my husbands..a sofa:)my old antique sewing machine stand w/ my ugly newer one sitting on top..so nothing is attractive~ Yours..all attractive.. I see similar little things..I have pink booties like your blue ones..La Carte postale stamp:) Eau de Roses etc tags..
Is that a Market bag pattern I see in the box? I'd like to make some..We went to a fabric store yesterday..the only one within 1 hr away..Like a Joann'es but no fun crafts..all fabric..I would need a day not 1/2 an hour.. I am rambling!!
Love your space..love everything..the fairy girls are on my list:)
Have a wonderful day..I love your organizational skills! That spice box is so cute too!
What a darling room. I love it. I noticed your white cherub vanity mirror. I found one exactly like it last summer at a thrift shop. Here's the post - http://journeytocharm.blogspot.com/2009/11/aliens-on-vanity-mirror.html. I thought the heads looked big. I ended up painting it white and its in my bedroom now. Thanks for sharing. I think I'll bookmark this post. Its so cute I want to look at it again later. Rosie

Oh Darlin can I hire you to organize my studio { I call it a studio because craft room sounds like a work room~ I want it to be a fun place to go to create} I love all your special little touches.... And guess what I bought that same wallpaper years ago for our old house and never used it..... I am thinking of using it in a bedroom or dinning room in this cottage!
Kathy dear you have inspired me! Thank you with all my heart! I always enjoy my visits with you!
Warm Hugz, Dolly
P.S. come visit ~~ I am hosting my 3rd annual vintage heart swap! I'd love for you to join!
Hi Kathy, Boy did I enjoy strolling through your craft room! It's eye candy! Unfortunately my craft/sewing room doesn't look all that attractive. NOR as organized. I love your vintage baby clothes on the hangers. I have three baby dresses my paternal grandmother made for me 60 plus years ago. I recently cleaned them with Oxiclean and they look lovely now. I would love to see your room from further away too. If I'm brave one of these days I will take photos of my craft/sewing room to post. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
Wow Kathy! I've been struggling to get organized forever! I'm 49 yrs. old and about to give up. I think a person is either born with that gift or isn't. A good friend of mine labels everything like you do. I've always blamed not being organized on having too much stuff and not enough storage, but you have everything looking so darling right out in the open, which I prefer because I'd forget what I had if it was all tucked away in a closet. Thank-you for giving me courage to try again :)
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me...I am always encouraged by your kind expressions and thoughtful comments....Know that you are loved....xoxo Kathy.
