Your coasters are lovely. I wish I would enjoy sewing, there's so much you can do and it can be done a lot quicker than crocheting or knitting each stitch (argh!) but hey, we can't all be the same, right? ... so, I enjoy looking at your beautiful creations. What a wonderful idea and I just love white in the winter time ;-)
Oh what a great idea with the coasters, I love it, you can make them unique and to your liking instead of buying whatever the store has in stock, that is such a clever idea, I will have to try that.

Thank You...your all so kind, the coasters are not stuffed. The material was already quilted to begin with so the thickness was just right after sandwiching two layers together. If you use plain fabric I would use a piece of quilt batting in the middle, xoxo~Kathy
Kathy, I love these coasters! When I first started to read this, I thought, "Oh, yes! What a good idea!" I was so entranced by the description and your photos that I got almost to the end before I realized that I CAN'T SEW! Not at all. Buttons, maybe. That's about it. :-(
I love these, though. I may have to find a friend who can sew and find something to exchange with her!
Hi Kathy! Very cute projects you've been busy doing! This time of year always brings out so much creative energy, doesn't it? For me, it comes out in my gift wrapping! Thanks for stopping by my blog....I wish you could attend our Open House! Take care and Happy Holidays! Polly

Once again you have come up with a great item to share. It is a highlight of my day to see what you are up to.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a dedicated craftroom that was set up, so that I could just sit down and created when the whim hit me.
