I needed someone to keep me company this evening...who better then a little feathered friend!... He even brought dessert...Egg colored Jordon Almonds... A favorite wine...San Sabastian Vintners White...which is not sold in Michigan. It is made in Florida...That is a whole story in itself...
You should have hollared Kathy, we'd have been right over. Lovely setting. TTFN ~Marydon
ReplyDeleteYour little table by the window looks so inviting~especially on a rainy day!! Everything looks lovely, from the pretty china to the whimsical bird and nest. All the pretty whites together...

First of all I must apologize for not coming around lately. Not sure where I've been but so enjoyed the tour. One never dines alone in bloggerville, so wish I could taste 'THE SAUCE,' always love seeing garden shots, and the hair story was really cute. Cute straight hair but I like the bounce too! You are a cute pa-tootie!
ReplyDeleteHope your week so sailing along, Candy
Kathy, now THAT is one inviting table. I would be delighted to join you. :-) That little bird with the Jordan almonds... CUTE! And I love all of the mismatched silver. I have a lot of family pieces that have been passed down, and I like to mix it all up, too. My favorite are some fiddlethread forks.
ReplyDeleteWe'll have to get together and dine again. I'm afraid I'm offering contemporary plastique tonight as my little assistants (whose birthday parties I attended) selected not only the flatware (it's hot pink), the glasses (they're hot pink and black), the dinnerware (hot pink), and the napkins (you guessed it, hot pink), but the birthday cakes as well (pinks). Although, they do receive silver from their Aunt and Uncle Magpie for Christmas.
Happy Tablescape Thursday to you!
XO,
Sheila :-)
I love your tablescape and dinner for one! No need to sacrifice beauty just because you're dining alone. I'll take some vino, pleae!
ReplyDeleteOh, my...what beauty you are showing us. Everything is just lovely. NOW, I am on the hunt for some fabulous silverware like this...I love anything that doesn't match when it comes to my table.
ReplyDeleteJust a beautiful spot by the window on a rainy day...I just love it. And, I love your blog..will sign up to follow you.

I just spent an hour looking at your ADORABLE blog. I enjoyed every single minute of it. Your photos are fabulous. I now have about 14 things I want....especially YOUR LIVING ROOM. I've never seen one with different color walls but, boy, your's sure works.
ReplyDeleteMay I take your picture of it and put it on my blog, linking back to you, of course. I want everyone to see your precious blog. I won't post it until you say it's ok...I did notice that you said we could take what we want...but, still....
Beautiful, beautiful....so glad that I stopped by

ReplyDeleteThis is my first visit to your place. I feel at home already. Thanks for the great inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty table! I especially love your little birdie on the nest... how cute is that?? All of the white is so refreshing...and sure beats what my table would look like if I were eating alone! (I have a feeling it would involve the coffee table in front of the TV, haha) ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful setting for one.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to join us on this weekend for the final Christmas in July Tablescape Party on Saturday (some may spill into Sunday since the 25th is Saturday. I am having a real CIJ family dinner on Sunday, but will post my table photos Friday night and Mr. Linky will be up and ready at Playing Dishes.

Beautiful table for one. I love the shape of the plate and that little nest holding dessert is so cute. Love it!
ReplyDeleteYes! I'll join you! Such a pretty setting! All the white, all the lace, the food looks wonderful! How could I not want to join you?!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
This is SOOO elegant! I'm impressed that you treat yourself so delightfully when alone. I usually stand at the counter! I know, got to change that horrid habit. Your silver is scrumptious! I've been wanting some, mismatched as well, but even on eBay: EXPENSIVE! Love your photos and scene!
