I've come to realize a frightening reality...There are DISHES in every room... And little animals hiding in the flowers...

Books lend a warmth to a room and an invitation to relax and escape... They work especially well when you need a lamp elevated for the shedding of more Light...

Had a creative moment on the top of this end table one day... The coral color matches the coral over stuffed chair... Then I went a little "artsie schmartsie" and created some INTEREST!!!! It turned out fun and Happy...





It is amazing how I used to Strip everything down years ago....Had to have everything down to the NATURAL wood... Which I still Love, but I guess we'll call this the "PAINTING YEARS"... Someone years from now will probably strip it down again while saying... " What would posess someone to put paint on this lovely table" .... and .....Life goes on! xoxo, Kathy.

    Hi Kathy! I love your fun way of decorating and the color! Oh, what a lovely chair. That seafoamy green vase/pitcher on your table is wonderful! Now the table you embellished is just fantastic! Your doodles remind me of the spacey 60s!

    Kathy, you are such a nut! lol If they question why you painted it, they have yet to learn about life! Your chair is fabulous! Love the colors! Your table is so fun and whimsical! The little critter in your watering can is too adorable!

    Love the whole room and the touches of seafoam green:) I have dishes in almost every room too:) A lot of the same tastes:)

    I love the colors in this room! It looks so very comfortable - like I could just plop down and take in one of those engaging books. I also enjoyed seeing your pitcher - and those lovely dishes. It's so special.

    Ooh! I love your little painted table! And the colorful chair, how well they work together.

    I am wanting to introduce a color into my otherwise all brown living room. The table legs have a hint of mint green, and I was thinking a coral orange would be nice.

    Your home is so pretty, because you can see that everything in it is placed there with love. I adore the idea of dishes being in every room. I have them everywhere! Why keep pretty things stacked in cupboards and closets? So many tuck quilts and linens and "good china" away and never enjoy it every day. And every day is precious! So glad we found one another! We think so much alike!
