About 8-10 inches off the back and she straightened it, ( Not permanently)... I just wanted to see what it would feel like with straight hair....Have you been there before? Then you know what I mean... This might not look like a big difference to you but it's huge to me...
The back is cut in a V and is shorter then the sides.....It'll never look like this again, because I'll never take the time to straighten it everyday...And If it's the least bit humid..It's is a lost cause!!!
This so great Kathy! My daughter hates her hair! Thanks for visiting mt blog! LuloDesigns
ReplyDeleteOh, hair! You hated your curls and wanted some! My hair is absolutely the straightest stuff you've ever seen. It will curl and stays in pretty good, but now I keep it boy-short. I have to cut it a little every week because if I just had a little body the neck would curl, but instead - it wants to stick out! Talk about a mess.
ReplyDeleteYou're beautiful either way - curls or not. I do think I like you in curls! :) don't hit me!
Be a sweetie,
shelia ;)
Wow, it looks great, Kathy! Love the haircut too! I straighten my hair just about every day because it's curly.
ReplyDeleteI love it, I keep trying to get my hair chick to cut my hair in a "V" in the back...she just doesn't seem to get it yet! Looks great!! Miss Bloomers/Sonia
ReplyDeleteI have paid big money for curls!!! My hair is naturally straight as a poker...I use a flat iron every day to tame the cow liks that are cursing me!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm lovin' that straight hair! I might even have to get up every morning and do all the work just so I could brag that I did! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are beautiful either way. No kidding!
xoRebecca
Your hair looks great,,straight or curly to me! Have a great week! Miss Bloomers/Sonia
ReplyDeleteIt looks really cute, but since I have really poker straight hair, I would trade you in a second. I think your hair is really cute curly, it just seems to fit you. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI love your haircut! My hair is wavy and tends to be on the frizzy side. I use a straightening iron on it, and it works great. It really doesn't take that long and is so worth it.
ReplyDeleteJane
I have very curly/wavy hair.. I was ALWAYS fighting with it when I was younger and getting ticked off when it wouldn't stay straight. Now.. I just let it go... lol
ReplyDeleteCute haircut! I'm one with stick straight hair who's so hoping that one of the grandgirls will get the other parents curls! Of course whatever they get they'll probably hate -- isn't that the way with us ladies and our hair? Glad you enjoyed your day of straight hair!
ReplyDeleteAwwww Kathy! You are beautiful either way sweetie!!!! Funny how straight haired girls want curls and curly haired girls want straight...I guess it will be that way forever!!!! I love your curls sweet friend....wishing you a wonderful week, xxoo, Dawn
ReplyDeleteVERY cute! And your hair is a lovely color, too! This is a sweet blog.
ReplyDeleteI love it both ways. I'm envious of the fact that you have curls ~ my hair can only dream!
ReplyDeleteJo
Kathy ~ It is a dramatic change from the fluff but both ways are really attractive on you. My preference is the fluffy curls ... you are gorgeous! TTFN ~ Marydon
ReplyDeleteKathy, Your new hair length is perfect for your facial structure, and it looks gorgeous both straight and curly! Thank you for your visit to me tonight, :-) Sue
ReplyDeleteKathy, I love your curls and I like it straight to. I say just accentuate the positive and go with it! :)
ReplyDeleteI agree great hair both ways! I have the waves too and straighten it because it doesn't look as nice as yours curly~
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful forehead! Funny thing to say..but it's true..Your skin is gorgeous!
I love your pic w/ the curls..you have such a kind pretty face:)Best haircolor:) The very best.
Cute!! I like it both ways. My son has very curly hair and straightens it occasionally. Looks like alot of work to me!
ReplyDeleteYou have beautiful hair, either way. I have the same kind. I don't fight it. I try to keep lots of layers and fairly short. My adult daughters spend hours a day fighting this dilemma. And to me it's a waste of time. If they had been born with straight hair, they'd want it curly!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Your hair looks great bith ways. Is'nt it funny I have straight as a board hair and always wanted curlie hair. Had a great visit. Stop by when you can. Connie

Kathy-I am just now catching up after our vacation--Life is TOO short for all that trouble and time spent straightening hair. Besides your curly hair is darling and seems to fit you! I remember rolling mine on orange juice cans back in the dark ages before large rollers--oh well, we always want what we haven't got! ps. I love your color!
ReplyDeleteYou're a gorgeous lady and it doesn't matter if your hair is straight or curly! Funny, I have been curling my hair every day for the last 25 years. Seems we want the opposite of what we have! Now call me a weirdo, but I just figured it out! I've spent 1,825 hours over the last 25 years trying to get everyday what the Good Lord gave you naturally...sigh!

Wow Karyn... Your math skills are way better then mine!!!!!!!xoxo, Kathy lol.
ReplyDeleteWell you are gorgeous, curly-or-straight-haired, but I vote for curly! I would give anything to have curl in my hair -- even a bit of a BEND would be nice!
ReplyDeleteI guess the grass is always greener, isn't it, on the other side of the fence? We straighties want curls, the curlies want the straights.
I used to do perms, hot curlers, all that -- now I just get it cut, and leave it alone. :-)
