Sprucing Up an "Ordinary Bicycle"...

I love how they call this an "Ordinary Bicycle"... We did see one of these at the 4th of July Parade this year...

Here's mine that I spruced up for the 4th with just a couple cans of white Spray Paint!! I don't know what my life would be like without Spray Paint!... Do I hear an AMEN!!!

Put some pretty flowers in the basket and called it "Good"...

I know a lot of you have painted bicycles... I'd love to hear your stories!!!!, xoxo~Kathy.

OH! Scroll down one more photo..... They'll make you smile, Arn't they cute!!!!!... Ha!

  2. Love what you did with the old bicycle. Cute picture of the grandkids. Can't wait for mine to be that old. I have two, a two-year-old and a newborn. The two-year-old is already developing a personality. He is so much fun.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm curious about the other blog listed on your profile (Hotflash). Sounds like a fun title, but you don't have any posts there yet.

  4. Hi Kathy, It's so nice to meet you- thanks for visiting me today. Love the spray-painted bike- who knew you could do the entire bike? Not me...
Wow- I am in awe at the flowers in the bike basket! They are gorgeous. I tend towards a brown thumb, so when I want color, I purchase a pre-made pot of flowers! Then Mr. Sullivan has to water them because I tend to forget. whew, I'm glad that I have other talents because flowers and gardens are not my strong suit! I will come back to visit again! :-) Sue

  6. hee hee!!! I love it! My bike is trying to rust for me. I scraped the paint, removed the chain, and cut the bar and gears off to make it look old!!! I like yours done in white...it looks very crisp and country!
