Soldering 101...a finished project.

Have been teaching myself to solder.... So far it has proven to be a little harder then it appears...Can you see the REAL tail feathers I've added to this bird? His expression looks somewhat apprehensive...Like he may be afraid to Jump! .. So I thought I would encourage him !...
I made the tag with a "B" for bird... since I don't really know his name...



He hangs on my new sea green pot in the living room... so I guess this would be a form of "Art Layering"...xoxo~Kathy

    I've watched my husband solder (he once was involved in metal work)..., but never tried it out myself. Lovely!

    Hi Dear Kathy!

    WOW!!!!!! What a wonderful job you've done here! I did tons of stained glass years ago and have planned to make these little cuties forever, but.....you know the story! Now I'm inspired.....yeah, I know, inspired doesn't get anything done....

    So Cookie....we're in the same boat...pushing 60! It's kind of sad to say goodbye to my 50's....oh well....I have one more year to worry about it! :-) The truth is, it doesn't bother me at all....
